That little bolero is still sitting in my dining room, waiting to be unpinned. I just didn't have time to get back to it on Sunday. Okay, that's not really true, I did have time on Sunday, but I didn't do it. I had a mix of busy - cleaning bathrooms, clearing clutter out of my bedroom - and relaxing - some light mending, cross-stitch, and knitting (while watching the Riders blow it in the third quarter AGAIN) - on Sunday.
All in all it was a very good day. I felt relaxed at the end of it, but at the same time like I had accomplished a great deal. I can see the ledge under my window again - the clothes, books, and papers are gone. Well, some of the papers are still there, but they're in two piles - Shred and File - and both have to go into the office with me, which I won't be visiting until Monday. I even cleared out my knitting basket, put my knitting needles away and got rid of those odd balls leftover from earlier projects, which never seemed to get put away. They're still not put away - but they've been moved into the den, closer to the linen closet in which they'll eventually be stored. And they're out of my room, and that can only be a good thing.
I feel ever so calm and peaceful now in my tidy bedroom. It has me thinking warm thoughts about Flylady and her ultra-cheery daily emails. May be time to sign up again and get the rest of the house under control. Things are getting out of hand. (Oh, look, I was even on the right zone for this week - The Master Bedroom.)
